Softly Whispering - The Photoblog

We celebrated with Cheeky his birthday yesterday. We do not know the exact date he was born. Wuan adopted him from a veterinary clinic in Ipoh. The veterinarian Dr. Ng told Wuan that Cheeky should be around three months old then. This white furry thing has grown up a lot since that day we took him back with us. He looked so fragile then. He scampers all over the house. We seldom let him out from past experiences with Fei Por’s kittens. The times that we let him out, we do keep an eye on him. Happy Birthday Cheeky. May we celebrate many more with you.

This photograph was taken in 2006. It is still one of my favourite taken with the Canon Powershot A610. The tale of how the two frogs ended up in the pond outside my garden is recounted in Freedom Frogs at The Digital Awakening. A cut out of this image is used for the cover page of the same website. We left the duo there at the pond after the shooting session. I wonder if they are still around.
